This testimony shook me to my bones. I literally recorded myself laughing and crying at the same time when I remembered.

Before I go any further, this may actually be the first time I’m sending you an email from here. I had a strong nudge in my spirit to do so.

Now, here’s the testimony.

On 27th March 2026, I put out this post on Instagram. It was an instruction to send an email, because someone would receive a favourable response only if they took the bold step to send it.

When I shared that post, I’ll be honest, I didn’t realise God was also speaking to me. I just knew someone needed to see it.

Fast forward one week later....

I had pitched to a venture studio for my tech startup, My Legacy Journals.

If you’re in the tech or startup space, you’ll understand how BIG this is. Being accepted into a venture studio and getting access to venture capital is no small thing.

Only very few founders were going to be selected.

By God’s grace, everything had already been orchestrated in ways I couldn’t fully comprehend. I had secured an angel investor just three months after launching the idea [STORY for another day], and he was the very person who opened the door for me to access this venture studio.

After the pitch, I waited for a response… but nothing came.

I had connected with 2 other founders who I knew had strong chances of being accepted. On Monday, one of them told me she had already been contacted around 2pm.

I reached out to another person, and he said the same thing.

At that point, I hadn’t heard anything.

I waited until the end of the day. Then the next day.

Still nothing!

You can imagine how I felt. I started to think maybe I hadn’t made it.

But then I remembered something.

The week BEFORE, I had a DREAM.

In that dream, results were announced and my name wasn’t there. But I could see my name somewhere else. I went to meet the angel investor in the dream, and although I didn’t fully understand what he said, it felt like he was indicating I hadn’t done something well.

Then the announcement was repeated....

This time, I saw my name… as number one.

It happened again. My name appeared again.

Then I woke up.

That morning, I journaled the dream. (I’ve attached a screenshot so you can see the date.)

This is why I always say, when I recommend journaling, I mean it. I keep different journals for different areas of my life, including a dream journal. Even this email was written with voice and I pasted into here].

Every dream I don’t understand, I use my voice to automatically write it down. Because there comes a time when life starts to align with what you’ve seen, and things begin to make sense.

When I revisited that dream, I saw the pattern.

And I knew I needed to send an email to the angel investor himself because he was the one I reached out to in the dream.

Remember also, just days before, I had shared this PROPHECY/INSTRUCTION POST on instagram: It specifically said....someone needed to send an email to receive a favourable response.

But here’s the key.

When you receive an INSTRUCTION, you also need STRATEGY.

I knew it wasn’t about emailing to ask for feedback on the pitch, that would come across as desperate.

Instead, I received a completely different, inspired way to reach out to him.

I wrote the email. I sent it.

And within 20 minutes…

I got a response.

“FYI: we seem to have got the wrong email for you. Please find below your offer and respond to XYZ for onboarding.”

Immediately, I started shouting, crying, and laughing.

Literally shouting THANK YOU JESUS!

I said it. I knew it.

There was a reason I had that dream.

And I’m so grateful I didn’t ignore it.

Because that’s what happens to so many people....

You have a dream, but you don’t write it down.

You don’t reflect on it.

You don’t seek understanding.

You just move on.

But sometimes, there is strategy hidden in what you’ve been shown.

I won’t go any further with my reflections because I don’t want this email to be too long.

But I know this message is for SOMEONE reading this right now.

And instead of giving you specific points, I want you to take a moment and reflect on what this means for you.

Is God not good?

That email almost didn’t get to me.

Phew.
