You Don’t Have to Remember Everything

Dear ,

There’s something I want to gently remind you of this month.

You don’t have to remember everything.

You don’t have to hold every moment, every thought, every feeling all by yourself.

Life moves quickly. Seasons change. Days blur into one another. And sometimes, in the middle of trying to be present, we’re also trying not to forget who we were, what we felt, or what mattered in the first place.

That’s why this space exists.

My Legacy Journals was never created just as an app; it was created as a companion. A place that holds space with you. A place that remembers with you when your mind is tired, when emotions feel heavy, or when life feels too full to slow down.

Every life is a library.

And libraries aren’t meant to live only in our heads.

This space exists because your story matters — even the quiet days, the unfinished thoughts, the moments you didn’t think were “big enough” to write down. Especially those ones.

We’re here because we understand what it feels like to want to hold onto meaning in a world that keeps rushing forward. We’re here because we believe no one should feel pressured to carry their memories alone.

So whether you’re writing often or haven’t opened your journal in a while, this is your reminder that this space is still here. For your thoughts. For your healing.

For your becoming.

You’re not behind.

You’re not doing it wrong.

And you don’t have to remember everything.

We’re glad you’re here. Always.

Your story, preserved,

Adedunmola from My Legacy Journals.
