This week I will be talking about the WHY behind #CoderDads.

#CoderDads is a group of dads in various stages of their journey's into tech. To those just starting out their journey, to those senior level engineers and even managers. We are here to support and share the stories and struggles of being a dad and a coder.

There are many stories that differ from the"Go to Bootcamp, learn code, make $100k/year+ salary".

The dad that was working full time and coding on the side while raising his family. The Dad that got laid off during the pandemic and used that time to learn new skills. The Dad that learned to code to build some apps and games for his kids. There are incredible stories out there that deserve to be shared.
