Howdy Folks,

What a great session today! Representation from around the globe and lots of new (and familiar) faces!

For those who couldn't make it, we discussed the MGM incident a bit, and we also checked out a cool learning tool I have used in the past to learn about web attacks, PortSwigger Academy. It's a great resource if you want to learn how web sites get compromised. Of course, they'll encourage you to use Burp Suite (their product) in the labs, but you don't have to. Burp Suite is a good tool to learn, though. It's all free and there are 251 labs of various difficulty to keep your brain working.

As promised, I am sending out the chat from our Zoom session today. It is attached as a txt file.

For those of you who are new to Office Hours, we invite anybody to join, but I do ask that everyone follow a few guidelines.

  • Please be respectful. There will be people from all knowledge levels, and we want to encourage all participation.

  • THERE ARE NO DUMB QUESTIONS. Please feel free to ask about anything that you think is related to Cloud Security.

  • Anybody is welcome to comment or ask or respond to a question. Especially when questions are asked! Speak up or put something in chat, whatever you are comfortable with. And if you see or hear a question and want to speak up, please do so!

  • Also, this is a non-compete space for all vendors (this is important). We are all here to learn and share. This is not about products. But you might hear about products as it's the nature of our industry. Opinions are welcome, but we are not here to pitch anything.

These sessions are NOT recorded. I do not use ANY information from these sessions for marketing purposes, and that’s a promise.

OK, details…
