☀️ The call that paid for our beach trip

Here’s what you’ll discover inside:

So, I took the family down to Rocky Point, Mexico—what us gringos call it. The locals call it Puerto Peñasco.

It’s only about 4.5 hours from my front door in Arizona to the resort we stayed at, Casa Blanca, right on the beach. It’s a great little spot—palm trees, pools, ocean view—and most importantly, it’s dog-friendly.

We travel with our two dogs just about everywhere, and this place welcomed them with open arms. We adopted "ROCKY" from Barb's Rescue in Rocky Point...ain't he cute?!

Now, my absolute favorite time of day? Early mornings—barefoot walks along the beach, just me, the waves, and the sun peeking up over the horizon. There’s something electric about the ocean air. Laird Hamilton talks about this in a book I heard him mention—how powerful it is to be near the water. Grounding. Calming. Creative.

But here’s the part that made me smile most…

On the first morning of the trip, before I even finished my breakfast tacos, I took a quick call with a client.

And that one call paid me $8,000 bucks!

It paid for the entire trip.

The gas, the Airbnb, the tacos, the beachfront view, even the squeaky toys we bought for the dogs at the mercado.

That’s when this G.U.T.S. Sales rule really hit me:

“Don’t take vacations. Live them.”

When you’ve got the skillset to create income from anywhere—whether it’s a beach town in Mexico, your kitchen table, or a cabin in the woods—you’ve got freedom.
