The first domino is never the big one

t’s the small decision you keep avoiding.

Hey,

Let me hit you with something that might sting a little.

Most people don’t fail because they’re incapable.

They fail because they keep waiting for motivation to show up before they act.

And motivation almost never comes first.

Progress starts with the first domino.

The smallest, quietest decision you’ve been avoiding.

For me, that domino wasn’t a new strategy or a fancy tactic.

It was deciding to stop blaming anything outside of me.

Not the market.

Not banks.

Not leads.

Not timing.

Just ownership.

That decision forced me to look at my habits, not my excuses.

Planning my day the night before.

Waking up earlier than I wanted to.

Getting up, protein shake, walking the dogs.

Feeding my mind before the world had a chance to poison it.

Motivation talks.

Audiobooks.

Workshops.

Voices like Alan Watts, Bob Proctor, Tony Robbins.

Not hype.

Alignment.

Then I write down my Top 3 objectives for the day.

Not a long to-do list that makes me feel busy.

Three things that actually move my life forward.

And then I protect four hours a day to do the uncomfortable work.

Creating content.

Marketing.

Talking to people.

Promoting.

Because success doesn’t reward preparation.

It rewards action.

In my world, that action shows up through creative real estate.

Seller financing.

Notes.

Becoming the banker instead of begging one.

Every dollar bill in your wallet is a note.

That’s not theory. That’s how money actually works.

And the deeper I’ve gone into creative financing, the clearer it’s become.

This isn’t about shortcuts.

It’s about solving real problems, the right way.

There’s a massive need for affordable housing.

The average age of a first-time homebuyer is now 40.

Not because people are lazy.

Because housing is expensive and we’ve been taught the bank is the only option.

It’s not.

Seller financing, done legally and ethically, creates win-win-win outcomes.

But none of that matters if you never tip the first domino.

So here’s the real question.

What’s the one small action you keep avoiding because it feels uncomfortable, awkward, or scary?

Because that’s the one that changes everything.

That’s it.

No pitch.

No pressure.

Just a real conversation.

If you can, we’ll talk and see what’s possible.
