🖤 So, tell me: Are you a discreet paperback reader, or a cover model fan?

I've had some paperback loving folks reach out, expressing their disappointment that my paperbacks do not have the naked man chest--ahem--models on their covers. To those readers, I see you, I hear you, and I deeply apologize for the disappointment. One day I'll have the budget to do fancy-schmancy special editions (🙏), with some hot models or maybe even mind-blowing character art, and boy will that be exciting. When I made the decision to go discrete with the paperbacks for Belle Argo Escorts, I was thinking about the readers I knew in my own life: my fantasy-loving hairdresser who likes to read at Starbucks, that girl at Disney World who came with her friends but opted to sit on a bench reading while her friends go on the Guardians of the Galaxy ride (she was reading ACOTAR, I was reading The Barbarian's Claim). I was thinking of myself, who sometimes enjoys pulling marketing quotes while treating herself at her favorite ice cream parlor, which happens to be frequented by children who do not need to get curious about how Ravi calls Liam "Daddy." 🤣

So, to the folks who are like me and enjoy treating themselves to something yummy while..."treating yourself to something yummy." I've got you. And thank you to those of you who have asked how they can better support me as an indy author. I've set up a direct store through Curios, where you can not only get those discreet paperbacks signed, but it's a huge help to all of us indy authors because when you buy direct more money goes to the author, rather than to the online vendor. It also allows me to do things like give a bit of a discount for anyone who wants to buy the ebook and paperback as a bundle (!!!).
