CCTV surveillance footage captured the dramatic scene as a mother and young daughter were rescued after they became stuck waist-deep in wet sand—just meters away from each other. A young girl was playing in the sand at 5:20 pm, near the Three Shells Lagoon, in Essex, England before she suddenly sinks knee-deep and becomes stuck. Moments later, her mom can be seen rushing to her daughter’s aid, only to sink fully up to her waist.
