In Ohio, across multiple state correctional facilities, inmates are rehabilitating themselves by rehabilitating others: specifically the most fragile and vulnerable of others: injured or orphaned animals.
Tiny birds—victims of a fall from the nest, baby rabbits orphaned by the wheels of a Ford, or little opossums lost when their mother took off at the first sign of danger—they all need a helping hand and careful attention if they’re going to make it back to the woods or the fields.

I am the pencil; my higher self is the writer. This was given to me as I asked to follow spirit to my next step. A wonderful analogy of surrender and trust for me. Like all of us I am being affected by the current energies that are bombarding the planet and self-care with plenty of rest and stillness are on my menu. Yes, I keep repeating that and it is worthy of bringing back to your awareness. For many years, 38 in fact, I have been ‘told’ that there is a New Earth birthing and that we the human collective are the ones that will be responsible for how this will occur and whether it will be slow or fast, easy or difficult depending on our individual awakening process. The awakening is an awareness of who we truly are as divine expressions of all that is, here to turn thought into form. Like a pencil that is the instrument to enable the writer to put words or drawings to paper we are the instruments to allow our thoughts and dreams to become manifested reality in form. And like a pencil that needs enough lead and be regularly sharpened to perform to its optimum, so do we need to have enough energy and a clear mind to be at our best. Right now, many of us are feeling depleted because of the amount of energy we have spent, but please know that we are the ones responsible for it all, our dedication and faith is pushing this Ascension forward at breakneck speed causing the chaos, causing the necessity to change for better. Keep holding the faith, stay true to the cause and love yourself for all you are and all you are accomplishing. We are the ones, the light and the love that will take us there.
