A deep inquiry into emotional reactions as gifts, Primary He and Primary She imprints, and the radical self-response-ability required for the Great Turning
Neurochemical Associative Memory and Primary Imprints
Neurochemical associative memory (the brain’s tendency to link present situations with unresolved emotional experiences from the past) is another ally aspect of our Human Nature. If we are willing to access it, it reveals what is truly going on: external reality is triggering unresolved emotional imprinting from our past lived experiences.
This is all linked to what I call the Primary He and Primary She (the original male and female figures or imprints where our early feelings were harmed). It always pertains to the Primary Imprint — the foundational moments when our feelings were not met with love, acceptance, or presence.
When we remember how we would naturally navigate with younglings experiencing intense emotional experiences — with compassion, acceptance, care, receiving, and welcoming — we sense again how far our current societal framework has moved away from this. Society continues to shush, diminish, avoid, silence, or want to “fix” these scenarios. Yet they are fully part of what it means to be a Human Being — a feeling-based creature.

A SUCCESSFUL HOMELESS VILLAGE IN SCOTLAND OFFERS RESIDENTS INDEPENDENCE BUT ASKS RESPONSIBILITY
A small village for homeless residents has opened in the west of Scotland with the aim of empowering tenants with responsibility and time to get their lives back on track.
The charity Social Bite has partnered with the Salvation Army for the management of the South Lanarkshire homeless village, called Harriet Gardens, which it spent some $3.5 million to build.
Consisting of 15 “nest” units with 1 bed and 1 bath, Harriet Gardens residents will share a gym, community space, and cooking facilities. Social Bite’s Josh Littlejohn believes it will be a big improvement over government sponsored homeless hostels, which generally create an environment of chaos.
