BE THE VOICE OF THE PEOPLE!

My initial thoughts for this email were to follow my regular format but then I wondered what the “founding fathers” (there were so many more people than just the ‘fathers’) thought about Christmas & the holydays. When I came across this article, I decided to base my email on it. I don’t agree with everything & my main focus during this time is on the intensification of Peace On Earth (especially in our selves and our assembly)!!

But I did like the gist of the message & it did speak about the men who dedicated their lives to the formation of our country. The excerpts from the article are in green font.

The answer that Linus gave to Charlie Brown was powerful and it is an answer that Alabama and America needs to discover again.

The Founding Fathers understood that the birth of our Nation was connected to the birth and ministry of the Savior, Jesus the Christ. The Founding Fathers also understood that it was within the message of Christ birth that the nation would find true meaning and purpose.

Every time a juror takes their place in a lawful Court of Record, the People's voice is restored to its rightful seat of authority. That's how American Common Law lives -- through the people.

When you serve on a jury, you're not just judging facts. You're standing guard over fairness, accountability, & the sacred principle that No one is above the law -- and No one is beneath it.

It would be John Quincy Adams, the sixth President of the United States, that would make the connection of the birth of the United States to the birth of Jesus Christ and Christmas when he wrote, “Why is it that, next to the birthday of the Savior of the world, your most joyous and most venerated festival returns on this day (the 4th of July)? Is it not that, in the chain of human events, the birthday of the nation is indissolubly linked with the birthday of the Savior?"
