Be Clever With Your Cash is Seven!
It's the blog's birthday! Over the last seven years Be Clever With Your Cash has been viewed 7.4 million times by 5.2 million people!! Thank you all so much for your support.
To celebrate I'm also giving away either a £25 John Lewis voucher or an hour-long video chat with me (the winner can choose). All you need to do is fill in my short annual reader survey to let me know your thoughts about everything I do.
Plus, as is now the tradition for this anniversary, I've taken the reflect on how the year has gone for my website and business.
How to claim working from home tax relief
If you've had to work from home for at least one day in the last 11 months due to Covid then you are able to claim back between £62 and £140 in tax from the whole year.
I've explained who can get it and how to get it in this article.

How many current accounts should I have?
Do you have just one bank account? Well I think you should have more. In this video, I share the reasons to have multiple accounts, and my picks for the top types of account you want to have.
Rather read than watch? Here's an article on the same topic
LIVE ONLINE EVENTS
THURSDAY 25th FEBRUARY @ 6pm:
LIVE Q&A chat
If you want to ask me questions about the content in today's newsletter I'll be live in the Be Clever With Your Cash Facebook community and on Instagram at 6pm on Thursday 18th February. It'll be great to see you there!
WEDNESDAY 3rd MARCH @ 8PM:
LIVE Budget breakdown on Clubhouse
I've set up a live session with some other UK money podcasters to talk through the measures to be announced by Rishi Sunak in Wednesday's Budget.
We're doing this on a new audio app called Clubhouse (it's iOS only - sorry Android users).
If you're already on Clubhouse, come follow me. If not you need an invite - but I've got five I will be sharing in the Facebook community next week, and hopefully those who sign up can share their invites too!
CASH CHATS PODCAST
Once again, there are two episodes for you this week.
#171: Ask Andy
Ask Andy moves to the podcast this week as I share my chat with listener Eli who won a competition earlier this year for an hour-long video chat with me.
We talk about first-time self-assessment for sole traders, savings vs clearing credit cards, ways to save money if you're on a prepaid meter and more.
#170: Your Money, This Week
This look back at the top money news stories from the week covers why half of workers would quit their job, text message scams, price hikes and more.
For this episode, my guest is financial advisor and founder of the Ladies Finance Club Lisa Conway-Hughes. Look out for a new episode this Friday.
You can listen to both via all the normal podcasting routes or over on the blog.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the titles or links for more information.
I've also set up an extra Instagram account dedicated to the deals and offers I spot throughout the week. Do follow me there so you don't miss out on offers that are already finished by the time this email goes out on a Thursday.
1. Waitrose: £5 off £40 codes
If you ever shop online or for collection at Waitrose it's worth trying these two codes which could give you £5 off. I've tried them on my account and both seem to work.
2. Plum: Free £5 with auto-savings app
I've blagged a link that'll get new users to the savings app Plum a free £5 credit. You need to connect your bank and make an auto-save. More details and my full review here.
3. Amazon: £7 off for Prime members
I know many of you will still be using Amazon, and if you're a Prime member you might be able to nab £7 credit to use on a £25 purchase. You'll need to check you're eligible and then upload a photo to Amazon's Photo app.
4. PayPal: Refer friends for £10 credit
If you have a PayPal account there's an offer running which will get you £10 credit for getting a friend to sign up. More here.
