Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top content this week
1. Why you need more than one bank account
Last weekend you might have seen how thousands were affected by the collapse of German payment processing company Wirecard and left unable to access their money or use their cards.
This is just one reason why you need to have more than one current account. Here's more on this and the main features on accounts I think you should get.
2. Reward credit cards: Which are best – cashback vs points vs miles?
As long as you are comfortable with using a credit card and can clear the balance each month, then earning rewards on your spend is a great way to make a little extra cash.
But should you go with a cashback card or one which earns you points or miles? Here's how they work, and my take on which is best.
3. Cinema reopenings: How to save money
Along with pubs, restaurants, hairdressers and other businesses, cinemas are allowed to open up again from Saturday.
If you are planning a trip, here's which money saving offers are likely to be available. Plus which chains are opening now, and which one's aren't.

My podcast this week
Cash Chats #130: Are freebies really free?
I've very mixed feelings about freebies or heavily discounted trials. On one hand I love them - who wouldn’t, you get something for free. One the other hand I’m not sure they’re always a good thing.
Listen to my latest episode of Cash Chats to see when they're good and when they could end up costing you more than you expect.
Listen on the blog or subscribe (for free) on most podcasting apps including:
If you can leave a rating and review on the podcast app you use when you listen that would be really appreciated.
