Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top articles this week
1. Should you extend or take a mortgage holiday?
If your cashflow is tight due to Covid-19 then you could be among the one in six people with mortgage that have agreed a holiday on payments. These were initially just for three months, but you can now stop paying for up to six months. But should you?
Here's how the payment breaks work and what to be careful of.
2. Chip savings app starts charging a monthly fee
The savings app Chip has been one of my recommendations for savers for years - but there are a few changes coming including a new monthly fee and the return of interest payments.
Find out how these could affect you, and whether I think it's still any good.
3. My £1,000 Money Makeover part 10: Your banking & savings
My series of videos that'll save £1,000 is nearly complete. In this penultimate video I've taken a look at your banking and savings, and how changing them can help you be better off by hundreds of pounds each year.
4. Money news catch up – Thursday 4th June 2020
As usual, I've shared some of the money-related headlines that you might have missed.
So here's what you need to know this week, including falling housing prices, "confirmation of payments", the return of top flight football to free TV, and record debt repayment by consumers.

My podcast this week
Episode #126: What's next for your job during lockdown?
In this week's episode of Cash Chats I've talked to Faith Archer from Much More With Less about the extension of the furlough scheme, how to get a bounce back loan and the precautions to take if you're worried about redundancy.
The chat was recorded as part of last Thursday's Lockdown Money Live event, and if you missed any you can watch all the sessions here.
Listen on the blog or subscribe (for free) on most podcasting apps including:
If you can leave a rating and review on the podcast app you use when you listen that would be really appreciated.
