Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top articles this week
1. Tesco introduces new premium Clubcard for £7.99 a month - is it worth it?
From next week you'll be able to get your hands on Clubcard Plus offering 10% off two supermarket shops and more. I've looked at what you'll get if you do sign up, and crunched the numbers to see if you really can save over £400 a year as Tesco claims or if it's just marketing hype.
2. Nectar Double Up news - and how to make it work for you
Another loyalty card update, this time around the Sainsbury's / Nectar Double Up event. This is one of the few opportunities to increase the value of any points you have. Even though there have been some vast improvements over the last couple of years, I still think it's too complicated, and there's the potential to lose your points if you aren't careful. Plus, there have been some big changes this year in how you get your vouchers. Here's how it works and where you can spend your points.
3. Netflix vs Now TV vs Amazon Prime Video vs Apple TV +
On Friday Apple launches its own subscription streaming service. It'll cost £4.99 a month which is cheaper than the likes of Amazon and Netflix. But is it decent value for money? I've looked at what you pay and what you get for your money across each of the big TV and movie platforms so you can decide where to part with your cash.
4. Never owned a home? Get a Help to Buy ISA now!
There's just one month left to open up a new Help to Buy ISA before it closes to new applicants. As long as you've never been a home owner I think it's well worth you getting one, even with just a quid to start. And this includes older teenagers as it's available to over 16s. Here's how the ISA works and how to get one.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
Plus, it's worth following me on Instagram where I post any extra deals which come too late for the newsletter.
1. Bonus £2.50 from TopCashback today only
Thursday 31st October only you can get a bonus £2.50 when you spend £10 via TopCashback. You'll need to activate the offer first. Here's more information.
2. Free £30 John Lewis voucher with credit card
If you shop at John Lewis or Waitrose regularly then it's a good time to apply for its reward credit card. You'll get a £30 voucher if you spend £250 in 90 days, and also get double points at its stores for that time, worth 2%.
3. M&S Beauty Advent calendar now available
Spend £25 in M&S and you can buy the popular advent calendar for £40. It's valued at £300 so as long as you actually need and use the contents it could be a great deal. It's while stocks last.
4. Boots Advantage boost weekend (again)
These used to be every other month or so, but now seem to be far more regular. Still if there are things you need to buy at Boots this is the equivalent of 10% back in points. Ends Monday.
5. Five Odeon tix for £20 / 20% off at Vue
Two movie deals for you. This Groupon offer is back and could be a great way to save cash at the cinema in the run up to Christmas. There's a 75p booking fee per ticket so it works out as £4.75 a ticket. Do check the exclusions though as not every film is included, and you'll need to use the tickets by 17th December.
Or if you head to Tesco this weekend you can get a £25 Vue gift card for £20, and you'll be able to stack that with other deals like Meerkat Movies to save even more money.
6. Spend £25 at Currys get a £5 voucher
If you are planning on buying something electrical now and can't wait for the Black Friday sales, then this offer from Currys is worth looking at. You'll get a £5 voucher to spend in December as long as you spend more than £25. Do price check elsewhere first though!
7. Lloyds £125 switch offer extended
I had problems signing up online for the Lloyds Club current account in order to get a £125 switching offer, and I wasn't alone. The offer has now been extended until 12th November, but don't leave it too long as if you also can't apply online you might need to phone up (this took me 20 minutes) or go into a branch (which could take an hour!).
8. Amex Shop Small coming soon
I'm a big fan of the American Express annual offer where you can get £5 back when you spend £10 at participating small businesses. It's due to return in December and it's now available to add to your card in the offers section of the app or website. I'll write more about it in a few weeks, but if you don't have an Amex credit card and want to take part now is a good time to apply. Here are some of the best options.
