Your weekly money saving deals and news from money expert Andy Webb
My top articles this week
1. Be Clever With Your Cash is six!
It's the blog's birthday! As I do every year I've taken the opportunity to reflect on the last 12 months of the blog, podcast and more.
There's also a quick survey to find what you think about everything I do, which I'd really appreciate if you can take two minutes to fill in.
2. How to stick to a budget
I know lots of people worry about overspending each month, so this week I've shared how you can make sure you stick to any budget you make, but still have the flexibility to adapt when things need to change.
3. Can you really eat ethically?
It's Fairtrade Fortnight so I've taken a look at how to navigate the sometimes complicated world of ethical food, including what the certifications actually mean.
4. The best reward and cashback credit cards
Here's my monthly update of the best reward and cashback credit cards on the market. If you are able to pay off the complete balance every month and only use them to buy things you can afford they can be a nice little earner, especially when you factor in some of the introduction bonuses that can be worth up to £125.

More on ethics and money saving over on the podcast
Sticking to my principles while still be a money saver is something I often struggle with. Am I doing enough? Am I doing the right things? It's hard to sometimes know if I'm making any kind of difference.
So this week on Cash Chats I'm joined by Tim Hunt from Ethical Consumer magazine to explore whether how you can be ethical with your spending and not break the bank.

The top deals this week
I only share deals and special offers on the blog which I think are really good value. Click the red titles or blue links for more information.
Plus, it's worth following me on Instagram where I post any extra deals which come too late for the newsletter.
1. Free issue of Ethical Consume magazine
If like me you wish you could make more informed decisions when shopping on how your purchase will affect the wider world - from climate change to human rights - then I'd really recommend Ethical Consumer magazine, and here's an offer for you to get one issue for free.
2. Swap old clothes for a 20% off New Look voucher
Sticking with the idea of doing good, the New Look / Hospice UK partnership has been extended until the end of March. Take a bag of clothes into a participating hospice charity shop and you'll get a 20% off voucher for New Look.
There are similar schemes at H&M and M&S too.
3. A year of Disney + for £49.99
The new Disney streaming service starts next month and as an introductory offer you can save £10 when you sign up for a year.
4. Free NOW TV passes with Vodafone
Vodafone customers (or anyone who tops up a PAYG SIM with £10) can get a free Cinema and Entertainment pass for NOW TV. If you miss out, or don't have Vodafone, there are deals to get month passes for as little as £2.99.
5. New £175 bank switch offer and last chance for £100 elsewhere
The TSB refer a friend promotion where you both get £100 ends on Friday 28th February, so find out ASAP if you have a friend who can get you a link.
Alternatively RBS has announced a new £175 offer. This is open to existing RBS customers who switch another account in as long as you haven't had a bonus since October 2017 from either Natwest or RBS.
6. John Lewis fashion and beauty promo - claim £30
If you spend £200 in John Lewis on beauty or fashion you can claim a £30 JL gift card. You need to be a member of the My John Lewis scheme, but that's free to join.
7. £10 in Boots Advantage points when you spend £60
This weekend there's another Boots Advantage card event. For every £60 you spend you'll get £10 of points added to your card. It's online only. It includes the normal cosmetics and toiletries as well as tech such as FitBits and Dyson hairdryers.
8. London Theatre Week discounts
Until the 8th March you can book discounted West End tickets for performances over the next few months. It includes shows like Endgame with Daniel Radcliffe and musicals like The Book of Mormon. Prices are either £15, £25 or £35.
Win tickets to Financially Fabulous
On March 26th I'll be speaking at Financially Fabulous Live, an event run by the team behind Good Housekeeping, Red and Prime. It's in London, and you can get tickets here.
However, I've also been given a couple to give away. One of those can be won via a competition on the podcast (listen to the latest episode for more details), but the other I'm holding back for one of you newsletter subscribers.
To be in with a chance I'd love you to subscribe to my YouTube channel and leave a comment on any of my videos (your choice). If you're not on YouTube then you can also do the same with my Instagram account. Just follow me and comment on a picture.
So I know it's you, please take a screenshot of your comment and email me at [email protected]. Put "FF Comp" in the subject.
You've got until 15th March 2020 to send me your entry. Good luck!
