Happy Friday!

Like the new look? I've been updating my branding including a new logo and a new look for my website. And, I'm hopeless. I keep promising to tell you about my release schedule and I still haven't done it! I promise I'm doing it this week. I'm writing it right now!

I've been working hard on my secret project this week and I'm ready for the big reveal. Some of you might have seen my news if you follow me on Facebook or Instagram, but if not, read on.

Bound by the Basilisk is almost here! It's currently with my editor and I'll have it out Jan 31 (don't panic if you checked the pre-order and it still says Feb, I'm going to bring it forward). I'm 10k words through the first draft of Used by the Unicorn and that will be going out to patrons in Feb in serial format ready for release in March.

Plus I've been loving Captivated by Tessa Bailey and Eve Dangerfield this week. What's on your Kindle?

I watch the asshole dragon follow my delicious human into the elevator until the doors close and hide them from view. If I really wanted to, I could follow them and use my master key to enter his suite. Or have my staff tell him the room was suddenly unavailable. Or any number of things.

I can already tell at a push he wouldn’t dare to challenge me. No one in their right mind would. Not when a single look from me can kill.

Still, it’s been a long time since I killed anyone. One benefit of shifting is the ability to fit into the human world, to go largely unnoticed. They’re so blissfully unaware of what I really am. Even now, after the supernatural world opened to the human one. I’m loathe to sacrifice that to the drama of dealing with a murder investigation, no matter how justified I might feel it is by his arrogant stupidity.

Instead, I decide to play the long game.

It’s a game I fully intend to win, though. I always get what I want in the end. And what I want is her.

Stalking to my office, I sit at my huge glass desk and write a note to my PA.

I want the name of any and all escort agencies dealing with monsters in the city. I want you to contact them and find a human escort by the name of Tamsin. Then I want you to offer whatever it takes to get a booking. As soon as possible.

I sit back in my chair for a moment, staring out at the lights of the city through the window. It’s been a long time since I visited Heartstone. I think the move will turn out to be a good one. I can already taste the promise in the air, like the taste of her skin I caught as I stood close to her. Sweet and fragrant and rich, promising greater depth than most humans. She’s a flower about to bloom. I’m not even sure she knows it yet.

It’s been a long while since I had a lover. The hassle of arranging it so it’s safe for them isn’t usually worth the effort. With Tamsin, I get the feeling it will be. My cocks stir inside the pocket of skin surrounding them and I smile. It’s good to feel so alive again. Good to grab life and take what I want from it.

I don’t touch myself. Instead, I sit for a while, looking out into the darkness and relishing the growing need. The slow ache of delicious torment that I’ll nurture until I have her.

It won’t be long now.
