Hi ,

Well, friend, when I checked my saved articles for the past week, there was only one thing. And this confirms my feeling that 5 Things has run its course. I sent out the first edition of 5 Things on March 30, 2019. At first, it was sent out sporadically and then I decided to make it more consistent after receiving some excellent feedback.

Now though, I see from my stats that opens and clicks are declining. And my interest is as well, as evidenced by the fact I only saved one of the many things I read this week.

And that's OK. Everything has a season, and this one is at its end.

I appreciate your replies and interest over the past two years and now it's time for me to turn my attention to creating new content in other forms. As well, several new clients with big projects have come onboard and my time needs to be focused on them.

Now, 2 final things for you this week...

1) During the Time of Covid, I've become addicted to potato chips. It's a habit I'm determined to break and my tool of choice is using the Tiny Habits system. Are Addictive Foods Making Us Fat?

2) An ongoing discussion topic in the Marketing Trailblazers Community is lead gen and email marketing. This article lays out sample email sequences for several types of lead generation optin pages. How To Create An Email Lead Magnet Nurturing Sequence (5 Examples)

And, if you want help writing an email nurture sequence from a pro copywriter, my colleague Andy O'Bryan is offering a live 3-Hour Email Writing Workshop where he'll provide templates and review your emails. Details are here.

The Standing 7-Minute Workout

That's a wrap, . I've enjoyed giving you a peek behind the scenes at my interests by curating these emails for you for the last couple of years. I hope we'll remain connected via email and online. One of the things that suffered in my business for the last year or so is the publication of content on my blog. That's going to change now too, so if you want to get updates when I do publish a new blog post, you can sign up here.

Keep in touch!

Wishing you a beautiful weekend,
