[PSA] {{contact.first_name}}, how strong are your passwords

Mar 16, 2021 11:01 pm

Hey ,

The other day I saw an infographic showing how fast hackers can crack passwords. It's scary! In some cases, a password can be hacked instantly.

This is your public service announcement...take a look at this infographic (click on the image to see it full size). If you're using randomly generated passwords that are at least 12 characters, then your passwords are secure.

If you're not, then make some changes asap. No one, and I assume that includes you, wants their personal accounts hacked. Thankfully, it's never happened to me, and I've heard it can create years of chaos trying to get things fixed.

I've used RoboForm for years to auto-generate passwords. I know a lot of people use LastPass. And, there are others. Pick one and use it, please!

If you use another password generator, reply and let me know. I like to have multiple tools to recommend so people can make their own choices.

That's it for today.

May your day be safe and secure,

Denise
