Happy New Year !

At the end of the first business week of 2021 and I'm thinking about where things could be headed this year in the way of creating and marketing our businesses.

In the Marketing Trailblazers community, the theme for the year is "The Fastest Path to Cash." We'll be exploring how we can create, test, promote, and pivot when necessary.

Rather than developing long multi-week or month courses, we're focusing on how to respond to what our clients and customers need and want right now. That looks like more short-form, bite-size, micro-content.

What can you create that is a single solution for a single problem your audience is facing right now?

Another trend along the same theme is the focus on video marketing with short-form video. Typically a short-form video is 2 minutes 30 seconds or less, depending on the platform.

Think about how these two trends can merge...a mico-course on one sliver of a topic you teach, built with a series of short (under 2 minutes) videos.

For example, I could create an in-depth six-month course on how to create a visible presence on the web. I already know from years of experience that people would buy it and few would ever complete it.

So, what if I create a micro-course on how to set up your LinkedIn profile and did it via three 2 minute videos with transcripts and a worksheet? It would be quicker to create, cost less to create and market and be far, far easier, and more likely that the customer would complete the course.

That's one way to create a faster path to cash. Less time to create, more money in your bank account.

Why do I bring this up? Because this is the kind of project that some of my clients will be working on during the next Get It Done Day Work Sprint on January 22.

And that's not the only thing that participants work on during 4 dedicated hours of the work sprint. One gal takes the time to work on her book. Another produces most of her social media posts for the coming month or two. Last year, one person developed and implemented a virtual event.

This is a fabulous opportunity to commit to working on your business without distraction and in the company of a dedicated group of business owners, focused on taking action to move their business forward.

If you'd like to join the group on January 22, click here to get the details and sign up. We'd love to see and support you to get stuff done!

I'd be happy to answer any questions you may have about how the Get It Done Day works. Just click reply to this email, send me your questions and I'll get back to you.

May today treat you well,

Denise
