Hi ,
I've been reading a lot this week and my books of choice when not reading business and marketing are crime and spy thrillers.
This week I read Michael Connolly's last in the Lincoln Lawyer series, Law of Innocence, and the second book in Tana French's Dublin Murder series, The Likeness. And we lost my favorite author, John LeCarré. I think the first book I read of his was The Honourable Schoolboy when I was traveling in Hong Kong at the age of 19. I was hooked and have read every one of LeCarré's books since then.
Do you have a favorite crime or spy novelist? Please reply and let me know your favorite book in the genre so I can explore more authors and books!
Onward. The most clicked from last week is at the end of this week's list.

And, now, 5 Things for you to read and watch...
1) To carry on the theme of crime and spy stories, here's a list for you...
John le Carré Film and Television Adaptations Available to Stream
2) And another list for reading (many of these are going on my library wish/hold lists): THE BEST CRIME NOVELS OF 2020
3) As mentioned above, I just finished the second Tana French Dublin Murder mystery. There's a long wait at the library for #3. Here's all 6 in the series:
Tana French Dublin Murder Series. The stories are complex, detailed, and lots of twists and turns.
4) Now for a feel-good story. Earlier in the year I mentioned a wonderful initiative on Instagram called ArtistsSupportPledge, artists offering works for $200 or less and after selling 5, pledged to buy one from another artist. I saw so many fantastic pieces offered. I was reminded of the pledge when I saw this story and it touched my heart, too. A New York artist spent $65,000 buying art to support fellow artists struggling because of the pandemic
5) I also loved this "come back" story. Someday I'd like to get one of these blankets. Three Decades Later, One of America’s Most Iconic Blanket Makers Has Returned
And finally, if you're curious, the Most Clicked Link last week was...
