Adam's World Weekly 9/14

It's been a positively manic past three weeks, with tons of writing, numerous interviews about the book, and even a few adventures in the city. Because of that, I'm hoping to power down a bit this week, and potentially take it easy. Of course, about two hours after I made that decision my brain said, "Hey, guess what ... I have an idea for an article!" so we'll see what actually ends up happening.

My most recent interview about One Hit Wondering was an appearance on the Youth Gone Mild podcast, hosted by Gen X Joe. It was a really great interview where we talked about everything from the book, to music journalism, to bands we love. The podcast should be up before the end of the month, and of course I'll pass along the link as soon as it's available.

I also spoke with my high school alumni newsletter about both of my books, and my life, and while the article won't be out until later this week, they showed it to me, and I gotta say, reading it was a bit of an out of body experience. I was like, "Man, that guy's been through A LOT ... wait a minute, that guy is ME."

I was also back on my usual side of an interview when I caught up with an artist I absolutely love, Emily Wolfe, for a fantastic conversation that covered a lot of ground, including her new song "Power," and how its creation played a huge role in her powering back up.
