Thanksgiving

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving with their family and friends!

We had a quiet day and week, missing our oldest son who was

spending the holiday with his friends in Arizona. We look forward to

seeing him in December for a couple of weeks!

What is happening?

Life and especially work has continued to be super busy. Traveling for

work has finally slowed down which means I found a little bit of time for

writing. Book 2 in the Guardians series is slowly happening and I'm

hoping to share a sneak peek or two soon!

As if we don't have enough going on already, we also adopted a

9-month-old rescue puppy, Sami. She was in a really poor state.

Underweight, no training, guidance, routine, or structure whatsoever,

and she had mange to top it all off. She kept running away from us

and could never sit still and sleep or relax. A couple of visits to the vet

addressed her vaccinations and mange. I'm so grateful for modern

medicine. It is taking a little bit of time, but she's doing a lot better

already. She is making herself home more and more while she's also

not constantly on full alert. Luckily the other pups are doing their bit

to help.

Give or take a few more months, and I'm hoping she'll be completely

settled down. It's is looking very promising!
