Thank you for signing up to volunteer with local 50501 Augusta protests, rallies, and community support! We are strong together.
We are launching a 50501 Augusta Discord server to better communicate with our members and volunteers. While we will continue to use email for event announcements and links, our Discord server will provide a better platform for you to ask questions, make suggestions, and add your name to sign-up sheets for preferred shifts and roles at different events. When we stay in contact with each other, we better organize our events and better support our community. Support Aiken's Workers Over Billionaires Labor Day Rally
This Labor Day, Aiken is joining more than 2,000 “Workers Over Billionaires” events nationwide with our partners at 50501 and Indivisible Aiken. This is more than a rally—it’s a stand against the billionaire takeover of our government, our economy, and our communities.
Billionaires and corporate elites have bought off politicians, defunded schools, gutted worker protections, and passed the largest wealth giveaway in U.S. history. They want us exhausted, divided, and silent. We have a different plan. On September 1, parents, educators, healthcare workers, small business owners, retirees, and students will come together to show that our power is in our numbers, our solidarity, and our refusal to be ignored.
How You Can Get Involved:
- Join the Rally – 10 AM at Odell Weeks. Bring your sign and a friend!
- Help with set-up, sign-in, crowd marshaling, chant leading, photography, medic assistance, and/or clean-up. If you're ready to assist in one of these areas, please let us know in the Discord server! Check in at the Augusta 50501 tent on Monday to meet an organizer and get oriented!
