Greetings Resistor ,

We know that most of this seems last minute but such is the Activism Life. There is a multitude of plates that have to keep spinning for actions to happen which means we have to be nimble. This regime is working overtime to flood the zone. We need you to engage, PLEASE.

Scroll on for the deets.

First Friday Tabling

Join us for our third First Friday appearance. Our goal is to connect with our neighbors, hand them voter information, get signatures on our petitions, and convert them to 50501 Augusta activism. It's a GOOD TIME!

Our neighbors are by and large excited to vote and we've learned a thing or two about the voting process as well. Plus when we interact with those who don't share our mission we get to practice our de-escalation skills in real time. Learning's FUN!

We have the tables, the material, the talking points, the signup codes, some chairs, some water, and some playlists. All we are missing is YOU!

When: 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

Where: 900 Block of Broad St

We try to park at the corner of Broad & 10th at the SRP ATM

10/03/26 Local Action: Operation Overpass Banner Build

No Kings Vote Early Craftivism

50501 Augusta is collaborating with Indivisible CSRA for No Kings Vote Early on 10/17. Our goal is to expand our reach to 5 overpasses in order to reach as many areas of Augusta as we can.

This means that we need a few new BABs* and we need to repair some of our existing banners. Which in turn means that we need more willing hands.

Now before anyone starts downplaying their crafting skills, if you can operate scissors and can twist twist-ties you can help make a banner!

*Big Ass Banners

When: 9:00 am - 6:00 pm

🚨🚨 This is a drop-in event. Come when you can. Leave when you must. You aren't required to stay the entire day. (Although that is certainly appreciated.) 🚨🚨

10/08/26 Local Action: GA - 12 Town Hall

In collaboration with Commissioner Lonnie Wimberly

Augusta Richmond County citizens have been asking for an in - person 12th District town hall since early 2025. That request has been falling on deaf ears. So we decided to hold one ourselves and invited both candidates to attend. Now we and our neighbors, their constituents, can ask them questions and hear the candidates' answers directly in their own voices. And, if you can't attend in person scan this code to submit up to 3 questions that we'll ask during the Town Hall.

When: 6:00 pm - 8:00 pm doors open at 5:30 pm

10/17/26 National Day of Action: No Kings Vote Early

No Kings is different this year. The NK Coalition has decided that instead of one massive protest we should host multiple smaller events with voter engagement information because when we vote early there's less chance of voter interference! We are collaborating with Indivisible CSRA to make this a roaring success. Your input is needed as we plan the locations and activities. As mentioned above we are expanding Op Overpass to reach more areas of Augusta which means we need more BABs* Wranglers. Join us in making this No Kings bigger, louder, and more impactful than before!

When: Times TBD

Where: Multiple Locations TBD
