Greetings Resistor ,

Life just keeps life-ing and we keep holding strong. Thank you for joining the Resistance! This work is vitally important and we cannot do this without you.

Know that this isn't a sprint nor is it even a marathon. This is an endurance relay. We must pass the baton when we're exhausted so that we can rest up for the next leg, the next hurdle, the next obstacle, the next climb, the next thing that this administration throws in our path. Which means we need outstretched hands ready to grasp that baton to move forward in the fight against this authoritarian regime. We need everyone standing shoulder to shoulder to dismantle the pillars supporting the destruction of our world. We need everyone working together to create the world we want.

We need YOU!

Help shape 50501 Augusta's mission:

Attend meetings. Participate in events. Step into your power to make HISTORY! Grab the baton and allow someone the space to rest up for the next leg, because we're tired, Boss. So damned tired... but not tired enough to quit.

5/18/26 Craftivism: Fundraising

GA Says Hell No To Jim Crow

Calling all our creative folks!

We need to fund the 6/17 Pack the State House trip. T-shirts are the obvious choice. So let's stretch our creative muscles.

The rules are simple.

  • The phrase is GA Says Hell No To Jim Crow
  • Absolutely NO AI or licensed images allowed. This is going to be used as a fundraiser and we don't want Big Mouse or anyone for that matter coming for us. You don't have to use any images if you don't want to. We're looking for a solid, strong design.
  • Designing begins on Monday 5/18/26 and ends on Saturday 5/23/26 at NOON.
  • Voting for the best design begins via a newsletter poll on Sunday 5/24/26 and runs until Tuesday 5/26/26 at NOON. Your VOTE matters!
  • The winning design goes on sale on Wednesday 5/26/26 at 7:00 am. and a newsletter will go out with the link at that time.

We're using our Fourthwall account for the first time. Here are the design parameters:

  • PNG with transparent background.
  • 300 Dots per inch (DPI) minimum.
  • 5000 x 5000 pixels recommended.
  • CMYK color profile.
  • Minimum pixel dimensions: 1500 x 1500 pixels.
  • A 5000 x 5000 pixel file at 300 DPI covers a print area of about 16.7 x 16.7 inches, which is large enough for all-over prints and oversized designs. If your design is smaller (a logo on a hat, for example), you can use a smaller canvas as long as it stays at 300 DPI.

Once we get our shirt launched, we need everyone to share the link and get people excited! We will discuss this more during our general meeting tomorrow night.

9/30/25 Local Action: Rick Roll Rick Allen!

50501 Augusta

Since our 12th District Congressman Rick Allen STILL refuses to hold any In-Person Townhall Meetings or actually meet his constituents in his Augusta office face-to-face to hear our concerns, we've decided to again respectfully air our grievances this coming Sunday on the sidewalk outside of his church. Depending on the Primary results, this may be a Lame Duck Rick Roll!

Don your Sunday School best, grab your In-Person Townhall NOW!, Release the Epstein Files, Stand For Our Veterans, and Bible Verse Signs such as Matthew 25:42; Exodus 23:9; Leviticus 19:33-34; Psalm 72:13; Exodus 22:22; Matthew 25:35-36; and 1 John 3:17 and join us for a peaceful sidewalk protest.

In a perfect world, this WILL be a lame duck Rick Roll. However, this world is far from perfect, he may retain his seat past the primary. Regardless, we aim to apply pressure until he meets our demands or he's voted out for good.

When: 9:00 am - 11:30 am

Where: Trinity on the Hill Methodist

1330 Monte Sano Ave, Augusta, GA 30904

6/17/26 Statewide Action: Pack the Statehouse

GA Says Hell No To Jim Crow

No doubt you have heard the Governor Kemp has called a special session on 6/17 to address redistricting prior to the 2028 election.

We must present a strong opposition to the gerrymandering and subsequent disenfranchisement of our fellow Georgians. Now is not the time to sit back and wait. We shut this down hard, now.

The Statewide call to action is to get to the statehouse on June 17. That's only 2 days before Juneteenth. The events under the Gold Dome are still forming. Once we know more we will share them here.

Our local call to action is to mobilize folks with busses, carpooling, and caravanning to get to the Statehouse. We need help with planning, logistics, and fundraising. Where would you like to volunteer? Attend tomorrow's meeting either in person or virtually to join the discussion.
