Important Updates for our 2KK Getaway Cruise!

We are very excited for our upcoming cruise on the MSC Seashore sailing on October 4th! As of today, we have almost 100 people joining us, and it is gearing up to be our best 2KK cruise yet—including our first-ever 70's Themed Cocktail Party.

I wanted to take a moment to answer some of the common questions we have been receiving:

Gratuities Increase: MSC recently announced they are increasing the "hotel service charge" by $1 per day, per person (moving from $16 to $17). You can avoid this increase by adding prepaid gratuities to your reservation before May 10th. If you would like us to add this to your reservation now, please let me know as soon as possible.

Final Payments: The final payment date for the cruise is July 3rd. I will be sending out final payment invoices in June, but please look to settle these as soon as possible once received so I have time to process everything. You can pay it earlier if you would like.

Hotel & Flights: We strongly recommend arriving in the Orlando area the day before the cruise to avoid travel delays. We are making arrangements for a group rate at the Holiday Inn Orlando-International Airport. Rachel and I will be staying there so we can greet everyone the night before. Once the block is set, I’ll send out the link. We are also going to ask the hotel if there is a place we can all get together to give you your backpacks and lanyards.

Flights: The Orlando airport is about an hour from the port. If you are flying, I strongly suggest not booking return flights home before 12:00 PM Eastern.

Travel Protection: I highly recommend travel protection, but I have not added it to anyone’s reservation yet. Since your deposit is fully refundable until the Final Payment date, and MSC’s travel protection is non-refundable once added, we are waiting to process it. I will be sending out an email in June asking everyone if they want to add protection, and we can handle it then. If you travel 2-3 times a year, you might also consider an annual plan; email me if you’d like to get that set up right away to cover travel you may have coming up.

Group Fee: As indicated on the reservation form, we will be collecting a $50 per person fee. This covers the giveaways, group photo, cocktail party, and other items. This fee will be paid directly to us, not MSC. I will send a separate link to pay this in a couple of weeks.
