Follow up from yesterday + a resource that can help

In response to yesterday's email, someone sent me this article on the Polyvagal Theory, which is basically about how resetting the vagus nerve can calm our nervous system. This article makes it very easy to understand with simple exercises you can do just about anywhere when you're feeling triggered.

I also want to acknowledge that I choose not to directly discuss politics. I've been guided to move forward with business as usual with the intention of offering you some sort of reprieve with safe spaces and insight that will make you feel empowered despite what's happening in the world around you.


I know you are experiencing intense feelings of grief, anger, fear, etc and it's okay to to allow yourself to fully feel them. I also think there is a bigger story unfolding here - and we have just witnessed the catalyst. I think this is the moment of darkness that occurs before the hero awakens to their power.
